Richard Perteet

Richard Perteet, 69, entered into rest on Friday, October 14, 2011.

Mr. Perteet was born on April 9, 1942 in Madison, Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Army as an Airborne Ranger. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. His parents, Mercer "Gene" Perteet and Sarah Frances, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his cousins Tony Mantooth, Keith Barnett, Steve Mantooth, Cathye Weist, Flo Hawkins, Fran Hardman, Greg Hardman and Comus Hardman and sister, Pamela James.

Graveside Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2011 in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
