On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, Rick Goodwin suddenly passed away at the age of 61.
Rick was born in Humbolt, Tennessee and was of the Pentecostal faith. He received his Associate's Degree in Nursing from Macon State College having worked with Medical Center Navicent Health, various dialysis centers, and most recently The Oaks – Peake Nursing Home in Macon. An avid outdoorsman, Rick loved hunting and fishing, but adored his grandchildren most of all.
His father, Lawrence Brown Goodwin, preceded him in death.
Rick's memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 37 years, Susan Baggett Goodwin of Macon; children, Amanda Crumpton and Melissa Goodwin, both of Macon, and Larry Goodwin (Brittany) of Bolingbroke; grandchildren, Lexi and Jared; mother, Frances Goodwin of Warner Robins; sisters, Anita Robinson (Dan) of Atlanta and Carol Crotti (Bob) of Pennsylvania; mother-in-law, Nellie Baggett of Centerville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2015 in Magnolia Park Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Corbitt officiating.
