Robert "Rocky" Andrew Griffeth, 54, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 6, 2009.
Mr. Griffeth was born on March 3, 1954 in Macon. A charter member of Westside Baptist Church, he attended First Baptist Church Centerville for many years, and currently attended Byron Baptist Church. A lifetime member of the Northside High School Booster Club, he was also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans of Warner Robins and the Watson Boulevard Huddle House Family. He was a Civil War reenactor. His brother, Ricky Griffeth, and parents, John C. Griffeth and Mattie L. Coker Griffeth, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty-two years, Patricia Harbin Griffeth; daughter, Kristi Proulx (Jimmy), Byron; sons, John Rocky, Jake, Jason and James Griffeth, Warner Robins; brother, Rogers Griffeth, Alma; sister, Regina Hobbs, Warner Robins; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2009 at First Baptist Church, Centerville, Reverends Jesse Fortson, Mobley Cross and Thomas Barnard officiating. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
