Robert Carter

Robert Carter, 71, entered into rest on Monday, December 27, 2010.

Bob was born on May 28, 1939 in Bar Harbor, Maine. He grew up in Portland, Maine, lived in Feeding Hills, Massachusetts most of his adult life and moved to Bonaire, Georgia in 2005. He retired from the Local Carpenters Union in Massachusetts. Bob was a proud friend of Bill Wilson for twenty nine years. His parents, Lester Carter and Hilda Baker Roberts, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Dola Carter, Bonaire; children, Abel Beaulieu, Bonaire; Toby Beaulieu, Clinton, Massachusetts; Vickie Wiechec (Joseph), Kathleen; Roberta LaGasse, Thomas Beaulieu (Gail), all of West Springfield, Massachusetts; and Robert Carter, Agawam, Massachusetts; eighteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2010 at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Hospice Care Options, 1125 Walnut Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
