Robert Emory Watson

On the morning of Friday, July 15, 2016, Robert Emory Watson went to be with the Lord. He was 70 years old.

Robert was born in Charleston, South Carolina on May 18, 1946 and was of the Methodist faith. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving his country in the United States Air Force and retired as a truck driver. Mr. Watson enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf, but the most important thing to him was caring and providing for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman Emory Watson and Ruby Lee Watson Chambers.

He leaves his memory behind with his loving wife of over 50 years, Sandra C. Watson of Byron; children, Brenda Lee Tidwell and Robby Watson (Fawn), both of Byron, and Danny Watson of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Michael Tidwell, Victoria Marie Rowland, Melissa Louise Tidwell, Robert Cody Watson, Coleman Blake Watson, Katelyn Nichole Watson, Linda Ashley Watson, and Jonathan Dustin Lee Watson; and 14 great-grandchildren.

At the family's request, all services will be private.
