Robert Franklin "Bob" Perry

Robert Franklin Perry, 77, entered into rest on Friday, July 19, 2013.

Mr. Perry was born on August 26, 1935 in Takoma, Maryland. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and the Fred Ford Sunday School Class. With courage and commitment he served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. In 1978, Bob retired from the Warner Robins Police Department as Chief of Detectives, dedicating many years of faithful service to his community. Subsequent to his law enforcement career, Bob retired from Robins Air Force Base where he worked in civil service as a Transportation Specialist. Continuing his community service, he was a Mason with Tyrian Lodge # 111, a member of Men of the Round Table, and enjoyed talking to and meeting new people. His father, Cyrus Franklin Perry, and his mother and step-father, Ethel Greene Ott and Ed Ott, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty eight years, Edith Hilda Britt Perry, Warner Robins; daughter, Janet Eddings (Allan), McDonough; son, David Perry (Mary), Williamsburg, Kentucky; sister, Betty J. Perry, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Mandy Clare, Jason Hamilton, Mat hew Eddings, Michael Eddings, and Robbie Perry.

Visitation will be Sunday evening, July 21 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
