Gerald Rozar, Sr., 82, entered the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
Gerald was born on January 14, 1941, in Plainfield, GA to the late Robert Grady Rozar and Eudell Horne Rozar. He worked in Civil Service as a supervisor on Robins Air Force Base until his retirement. Gerald loved life, his family and enjoyed being outdoors whenever he could. Peachtree Baptist was his church home.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Shirley Ryals and Michael Rozar.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Dawn Rozar of Byron; children, Debra Rozar of Gray, Robert “Bob” Rozar, Jr. (Donna) of Gray, David Rozar (Misty Campbell) of Eatonton, James Rozar (Sherry) of Bonaire, and Jason Rozar (Christine) of Chuluota, FL; stepsons, Robert Windham (Rahsheeda) of Alexandria, VA and Kyle Windham of Byron; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and fur baby, Finley Rozar.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggest memorial donations be given in memory of Gerald Rozar, Sr. to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
