Robert Holt “Buddy” Beckworth, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2021, in Arizona.
A 1979 graduate of Northside High School, Robert served his country in the United States Air Force. A welder and fabricator by trade, he was a horse lover who could often be found traveling around the country to barrel races. If he wasn’t living the rodeo life, Robert could be found casting a line into the lake. His claim to fame was sharing a birthday with his triplet nieces. Most of all, Robert adored his time spent with his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Holt Beckworth, Sr. and Martha Faye Stone Beckworth, and his younger brother, Keith Beckworth.
Those who will treasure the memory of Robert forever include his children, Reese Beckworth (Amy) and Matthew Beardley; grandchildren, Marlee and Violet; sister, Wendy Beckworth McDowell (Doug) nieces and nephews, Taylor Mixon, Tara Nobles, Tiffany Lewis, and Andrew McDowell; and half-sister, Linda Lienbacher (Kurt).
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at McCullough Funeral Home.
