Robert Howard Kelly

Robert Howard Kelly, 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Mr. Kelly was born on March 5, 1931 in Valdosta, Georgia. He held a state record in gliding, his favorite hobby, and was an avid reader and gun collector. He called Central Baptist Church his church home. He proudly served in the United States Army and participated in the Korean War. Mr. Kelly retired from PBS in Cochran where he was he was a programming specialist.

His parents, Arthur D. Kelly and Ruby Stedham Kelly, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his brother, Michael Kelly (Elaine), Midway; nephews Michael Kelly, Savannah, Jeffrey Kelly Gainesville, Florida and cousin Dr. L. Rudolph Howell, Valdosta.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Central Baptist Church, New Horizons, 1120 Lake Joy Road Warner Robins, GA 31088
