Robert Leslie Quarles, Jr.

Robert L. Quarles, Jr., 72, entered into rest on Friday, June 4, 2010.

Mr. Quarles was born on January 21, 1938 in Bridgeport, Alabama. A 1960 graduate of the University of Alabama, Robert retired from Robins Air Force Base where he was an Industrial Engineer for 35 years. He enjoyed time spent with his loving family. His favorite hobbies included genealogy research and photography. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Quarles was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Quarles, Sr. and Mamie Reed Quarles.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Grace Quarles, Warner Robins; son, Tod (Regina) Quarles, Dacula; step-sons, David Hudson, Dana Hudson, and Danny Hudson, all of Warner Robins; and one grandson, Russ Quarles, Dacula.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
