Robert Lee Sisa

November 15, 1952 — June 26, 2024

Bonaire

On the morning of Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Robert Lee Sisa, 71, entered into the gates of heaven.

Robert was born on November 15, 1952, in Perry, Georgia to the late Clarence and Kathleen Sisa. A man of great stature, Robert was a pillar of integrity and dedication throughout his life. After completing his early education at Bonaire Elementary and Warner Robins High School, he pursued further studies at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. As a general contractor, Robert meticulously built homes throughout Houston County before his career transitioned to civil service and was marked by a significant commitment to the city of Warner Robins, where he served as the Head of Building Inspections and the Community Development Director. A true servant leader, his professional life was a testament to his dependability and diligence.

Robert’s personal life was filled with family. A man of few words but great presence, he was always available to chat about the weather or tell you what needed to be fixed, generally fixing it before you knew it was broken. Robert always made sure you had everything you needed and some of the things you didn’t, like a new headlamp, toolkit or flashlight which were often the most cherished and needed gifts. He instilled a great work ethic in his sons and was always proud of their success. Robert was filled with great pride and joy watching his grandchildren play ball, a simple pleasure he cherished deeply. He will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him, but he leaves a large hole in the hearts of those who loved him. Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Sisa.

His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife, Robin, just two months shy of fifty years of marriage. Their loving children, Ben and Jessica Sisa, Brandon and Jessi Sisa, and Teri Sisa. His beloved grandchildren, Elijah and Marisa Sisa and Addison and Cami Sisa, who will miss his constant presence and guidance. He is also survived by his sisters, Yvette Beckett (Charlie) and Julie Wingard.
