Robert T. Jones, Jr.

Robert T. Jones, Jr., 87, went to Heaven on Thursday, November 24, 2011.

Robert was born on June 19, 1924 in Savannah, Georgia. He grew up in Millen, Georgia and has been a resident of Warner Robins since 1945. Robert was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins where he served on the Board of Deacons. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base. Robert will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. His parents, Robert T. Jones, Sr., and Pauline Daniel Jones, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of sixty-six years, Naomi T. Jones of Warner Robins; daughter, Judith Page-Williams and husband Richard Williams of Warner Robins; grandson, Alex R. Page of Arlington, Virginia; brother, C. Wellborn Jones of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on November 28, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
