Robert S. Walters, Jr., 77, entered into rest on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
Robert was born on October 21, 1946, in Macon, Georgia. From an early age, he excelled in sports; he was the first baseball player to ever pitch a perfect game in Warner Robins Little League. He attended and graduated from Warner Robins High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia. Following his graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army and honorably served during the Vietnam conflict. From there, he moved to Metro Atlanta and spent his career working in insurance. He deeply enjoyed coaching his children in their various sports. A true outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and several other outdoor activities. In his free time, he enjoyed watching The Atlanta Braves and The Georgia Bulldogs and was a longtime member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church, where he served as an usher. His presence will be deeply missed by those he held most dear.

Walters; sister, Ginny Miller (Don) along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members and friends.
