Roger A. Cothren, Sr.

Mr. Roger A. Cothren, Sr. passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2002 at Kindred Hospital, in Atlanta, GA. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. A Rosary will be said on Wednesday at 7:00 pm with visitation following until 9:00 pm in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.

Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Mr. Cothren retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as an Aircraft Electrician after 31 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. His parents, J.W. and Effie Cothren, preceded him in death.

He was survived by his wife, Irma Y. Cothren, Warner Robins; daughter, Judy Cothren, Warner Robins; sons, Roger A. Cothren, Jr. (Kim), Centerville; Michael Cothren, Macon, GA; brothers, Grady Cothren, Huntsville, AL, Ray Cothren, Huntsville, AL; grandsons, Roger A. Cothren, III, Nicholas Tyler Cothren, and Jonah Cothren all of Warner Robins.
