Roger Peyer

July 9, 1931 — February 10, 2006

Roger “Ricochet” Peyer, 74, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2006. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 in Andersonville National Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2006 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Peyer was born on July 9, 1931 in Bowdon, North Dakota. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam Era. He was also retired civil service after eighteen years in electronics at Robins Air Force Base. His parents, Rollie and Inga Peyer, and brother, Daniel Peyer, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Irene Peyer, Warner Robins; daughter, Memory Peyer, Warner Robins; step-daughters, Aretha Drake, Canton, Ohio; Pamela Burson, Canton, Ohio; brothers, Robert Peyer (Tommie), Petaluma, California; Ernie Peyer (Ellen), Osburn, Idaho; sister, Doris Stroh (Richard), Harlowton, Montana; sister-in-law, Yvonne Peyer, Mott, North Dakota; best friend, Donald Kurtz, Warner Robins; special friend and caretaker, Michelle Heichelbech, and her children, Shelby and Britney, Warner Robins; and several nieces and nephews.
