Roger W. Fulling II, 89, of Carlyle Place, Macon, GA, died at his residence, Sunday evening, September 12, 2021.
Roger W. Fulling was born to John Charles and Edith Claire (Eagle) Fulling, at Philadelphia, PA, January 20, 1932. He spent his early years on the on the East coast, moving with his family in the late 1940’s to Long Beach, CA. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was educated at Long Beach State University and the University of California at Berkeley. Roger was an electrical engineer with Hughes Aircraft Company for 48 years.
He married, Kathleen Marion Anderson, August 13, 1955, at Long Beach, CA. They spent many years in the Midwest, Virginia and California, before moving to Warner Robins, GA in 1989. Roger moved to Carlyle Place, Macon, GA in 2010.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen M. Fulling, March 29, 2001; his parents, John Charles and Edith Claire (Eagle) Fulling; his brother, John C. Fulling; his sisters, Claire Diestel and Nancy Moon; a half-brother, Richard C. Fulling; and a half-sister, Joyce M. Fulling.
Surviving are his daughter, Jacqueline K. Fulling of Atlanta, GA; three sons, Randall W. Fulling (Karna) of Pottsville, PA; Richard W. Fulling of Wilson, NC; and Kenneth M. Fulling (Lynn) of Springfield, VA; two half-sisters, Virginia Giesenschlag (Carl) of Asheville, NC; and Blanche Dempsey (Jesse) of Kernersville, NC; a half-brother, David Fulling of Black Mountain, NC; three grandchildren, Kristina Fulling of Florida; Rebecka Purcell (Jordan) of Pennsylvania; and Robert Fulling of Wisconsin; and one great-grandchild, Aiden Fulling of Florida.
Roger arranged for his body to be donated for medical science and/or organ donation. A service of remembrance will be planned at a later date.
