Ronald Franklin Forrester, born on May 31, 1971 to the late Marvin Franklin Forrester and Doris Herring Forrester, passed away at home on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
A 1989 graduate of Northside High School, Ron joined the United States Air Force immediately following graduation and married Fran Melissa Raynor on February 13, 1991. On July 13, 1992, they had a daughter, Ashley Maria Forrester, and were transferred that same year to Las Vegas, NV. The family moved back to Warner Robins following Ron’s military career where he worked in several different vocations. Through the years, he was employed as a baggage transporter with Eastern Airlines in Atlanta and with Fenders and More in Macon. In addition, Ron ran a successful lawn care business, worked at Frito Lay, and Swan’s before pursuing a career in flying. He attended flight classes in Decatur, GA and later attended the Flight Safety Academy in Vero Beach, FL, from where he proudly graduated. Ron was able to fulfill his lifelong dreams of living on the beach in Florida and owning a Porsche.
In his family, Ron was loved and admired for his infectious laughter and incredible sense of humor as he always kept others laughing. He truly adored his daughter and grandsons and loved doing anything that involved time with them. In his free time, Ron enjoyed golfing, fishing and surfing. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed practicing Messianic Judaism.
