Ronald Ray Reaves, 36, died Saturday, December 29, 2001 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 30 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following at Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held Saturday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society, 6201 Powers Ferry Road NW, Suite 380, Atlanta, GA 30339 or to the Centerville United Methodist “Soaring with the Spirit” Building Fund, 101 Wilson Drive, Centerville, GA 31028.
Mr. Reaves was born in Anchorage, AK. He earned an MBA from Auburn University. Mr. Reaves worked as the Site Business Manager at TRW. Before working at TRW, he worked at the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center and also as a Financial Analyst at McNeal Agency.
Mr. Reaves was a member of the New Beginnings Sunday Sunday School Class at Centerville United Methodist Church. He also served as Chairman of the Counsel on Ministries for several years and was a member of the Staff Parish Relations Committee.
His mother, Annette Reaves, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Paige Reaves of Kathleen; father, Ray Donald Reaves of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Reaves of Kathleen; son, Ronald Ross Reaves of Kathleen; daughter, Ashlyn Annette Reaves of Kathleen; sister, Tanya Ann Walker of Jacksonville, AL; brother-in-law, Todd Walker of Jacksonville, AL; father and mother-in-law, Chuck and Pat Summers of Elko; brothers and sisters-in-law Chad and Stacy Summers of Hawkinsville, Mark and Cheryl Summers of Kathleen, and Elaine Summers of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
