Ronald Lynn Taylor, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away at his residence on January 22, 2024. He was 73 years old.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 27 years, Janet Taylor, his children, Ron Taylor Jr., Michael Taylor & Liberty Taylor, Matthew Edwards & Jasmine Asbell, and Emily Edwards, as well as his grandchildren, Hunter Edwards, Charlie Lane, and Carmen Edwards. He is also survived by his brothers, Mike Taylor, Larry Taylor, Charles Metcalf, Stephen Bobbitt, and Susan Evanoff, and his sister, Kim Frankhouser.
Ronald served his country with honor, joining the Army in 1967. He drove convoys for the 64th Transportation and the Highlanders Animals gun truck. He was also a proud graduate of Shield High School, Class of 1970. After his military service, Ronald continued his career as a professional truck driver for Naturally Fresh, where he touched the lives of many with his dedication to his work before retirement.
Ronald was a man of many interests and talents. His interest were his grandbabies, great-grandbabies, and great-great-grandbabies; and his beloved fur babies. He enjoyed water skiing, traveling, watching Westerns and war pictures. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
