Ronald William ''Ronnie'' Newton

Ronnie Newton, 64, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

Ronnie was born on December 1, 1950 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He proudly served his country as SP4 in the United States Army and retired from Lee and Sons Construction Co., Inc.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Dorothy Wittchow Newton.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving brother, Richard "Fig" Newton (Sarah Ruth) of Centerville and sister, Sharon Ann Steele (LeGrand Guild) of Aberdeen, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mr. Newton will be laid to rest in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to the donor's favorite charity.
