Rosalie Ann Dyer

August 30, 1938 — March 6, 2021

Rosalie Ann Dupee Dyer, 82, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, March 6, 2021, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Dyer was born on August 30, 1938, in Washington, DC, to the late Earle M. and Emma Bornmann Dupee. She grew up in Rockville, Maryland, and married Harry Dyer on June 6, 1964. Together they moved to Woodbridge, Virginia, and later to Valdosta, before settling in Macon, Georgia. Mrs. Dyer was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family very much and was especially proud of her two grandsons. Mrs. Dyer was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Harry V. Dyer, who passed away in August of 2007; her brother, Walter Dupee; and her sister-in-law, Sarah Adams.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Margie Dyer Parish (Bryan) of Macon; her grandsons, Brandon D. Parish and Matthew L. Parish, both of Macon; her sister, Diane E. Selby of Gaithersburg, Maryland; her sister-in-law, Nancy Dupee of The Villages, Florida; her brother-in-law, Hugh Adams of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation with Mrs. Dyer’s family will be Tuesday, March 9, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Howe of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Dyer will be laid to rest next to her husband in Parkway Memorial Gardens. At the family’s request, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Rosalie Ann Dupee Dyer to the Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088; or to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 336 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
