Rose Marie Melnick

Rose Marie Melnick died Saturday, August 31, 2002 at her son’s residence. Locally, there will be a visitation at McCullough Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Sunday, September 1. Visitation will be at Sinatra Funeral Home in Yonkers, NY on Tuesday, September 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Services will be at Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Yonkers at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 4, with entombment following in the Ferncliff Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of Houston County, 2066 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31093.

Formerly of Yonkers, New York, Mrs. Melnick had lived in Lake Worth, Florida. She had been residing recently with her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Marianne Melnick, of Warner Robins, Georgia. She was retired, and had been a hairdresser and co-owner of Caryl Beauty Salon in Yonkers, NY. She was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Yonkers. Her husband, Edward J. Melnick, and parents, Joseph and Angela Falco, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Robert Melnick (Marianne), Warner Robins, GA; brother, Carl “Sonny” Falco, Yonkers, NY; sister, Olga Molinari, Boca Raton, FL; grandchildren, Bobby Melnick (Patty), Kathleen, GA; Jan Christian Melnick (Laura Anne), Warner Robins, GA; great-grandchildren, Morgan and McKay; and several nieces and a nephew.

McCullough Funeral Home and Sinatra Funeral Home have charge of arrangements.
