Rowena Wall, 67, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2005 at the Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 1, 2005 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to The American Cancer Society, Houston County, P.O Box 1544 Warner Robins, GA 31093.
Mrs. Wall was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 14, 1938. She graduated from Miller High School in Macon, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia and went on to receive a degree in astrology from the University of Miami. She wrote political editorials for the Warner Robins Daily Sun that where also published in the New York Times and the Washington Post. She has published two books on astrology and has written many articles in national astrology magazines. Mrs. Wall was a member of many national and local astrological associations. She was also a member of local, state, and national Republican organizations, where she wrote speeches for candidates on all levels running for office. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints in Warner Robins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Wall; and her father, Lamar Harper.
Survivors include her mother, Mamie M. Harper, Warner Robins; many relatives in Arkansas; a close companion, Barbara Haslem; her German Shepherd, Urana; and many other friends.
