Roy Baggett

Urtis Roy Baggett, 86, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

Mr. Baggett was born on April 22, 1925 in Alabama. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Navy and served during World War II. He later retired from the United States Postal Service working as a Postal Carrier. Northside Baptist Church was his church home. His parents, John H. Baggett and Louella Whitman Baggett, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved and devoted wife of fifty-six years, Agnes Laverne Turner Baggett; children, Susanne Ridings (Gene), Brenda Baggett and Patricia Baggett; grandchildren, Tim Ridings, Jennifer Zeiner, Scott Ridings, Brette Callaway (James) and Kyle Ridings; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, September 16, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 277 M.L.K. Jr., Blvd. Ste. 201, Macon GA 31201.
