Roy Lewis Emerson

Roy Lewis Emerson, 82, entered into rest on Monday, November 25, 2013.

Mr. Emerson was born on September 22, 1931 in Blairsville, Georgia to the late Jess and Eva Mae Emerson. He retired from Robins Air Force Base in civil service where he dedicated many years of employment as an Electronics Mechanic. In his years of retirement, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, repairing watches and being a great-grandfather to his four great grandchildren. His parents, and two brothers, Jimmy and Melvin Emerson, all preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of fifty-nine years, Millie Ann Emerson, Fort Valley; children, Robert Emerson (Darcy), Perry; Malindie Roberts, Warner Robins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda Woody (James), Virginia Chastin (Cliff); grandchildren, Rebecca Marcy, Joshua Emerson, Matthew Hancock, Justin Emerson; great grandchildren, Lexie, Trent, and Grant Cowan, Conner Marcy, and Jayden Emerson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
