Roy Busbee, age 85, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
Mr. Busbee was born on July 26, 1936 in Peach County and had lived in Warner Robins for nearly 60 years.
He retired from Robins Air Force Base after a career in electronics. He was preceded in death by his parents, Seaborn Busbee and Alice Jones Busbee; four brothers, W.S., Irvin, Ellis, James, and Felton Busbee; two sisters, Hazel Jarrell and Sarah Harbuck; infant siblings, Margie and Franklin; his wife of 53 years, Dera Jane Busbee; and his son, Charles Glover, Jr..
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Darsey; as well as six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Roy’s memory to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
