Roy Oliver

Roy Oliver, 68, died Saturday, April 12, 2003. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14, at 4:00pm in the Mewborn Family Cemetery in Jason Township, North Carolina. Visitation will be Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Oliver was born in Princeton, NC and has resided in Warner Robins for 30 years. He was a retired general contractor for Oliver Construction. He served in the United States Air Force for 12 years, 1953 until 1966 and was involved in the Vietnam and Korean War. He was a member of the Warner Robins Moose Lodge and was of Methodist Faith. He was a 1953 graduate of New Hope High School. His parents, Joseph and Julia Oliver, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Durham Oliver, Warner Robins; daughters, Andrea Lefevre, Greenfield Center, NY, Brenda Phillips, Cordele, GA, Cheryl Young of AZ; son, Mark Oliver, Bonaire; nine grandchildren, Six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
