Ruby Horton

Fort Valley � Ruby Horton, 72, entered into rest on Sunday, September 11, 2011.

Mrs. Horton was born on July 11, 1939 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as a computer programmer. She was also a wonderful homemaker, and she truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her husband, Ralph Walter Horton; and parents, Charlie Hudgins and Ola Bell Burke Hudgins preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Mark Horton (Teresa), Fort Valley, Keith Horton (Nancy), Warner Robins, and Kim Horton Hancock (Rusty), Centerville; grandchildren, Christopher, Travis, Kyle, Joshua Horton, and Dylan Hancock; several step-grandchildren; great-granddaughter, Kaiti Horton; sisters, Josephine Evans, Griffin, Mary Johnson, Griffin, Evelyn Tate, Marietta; sister-in-law, Joyce Hicks Culpepper; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
