Bonaire – Ruby Howard Davidson, 91, died Thursday, February 14. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, at Bonaire First Baptist Church in Bonaire, GA. Interment will follow at Bonaire Cemetery. Pastor Kenny Rodgers and Rev. Ford Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Bonaire First Baptist Church Building Fund, 142 W. Highway 96, Bonaire, GA, 31005.
Mrs. Davidson was born in Byron, GA, and was a housewife. She was a member of Bonaire First Baptist Church in Bonaire and was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Houston County Senior Citizens Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Irvin Davidson, Sr.; and parents, Wesley Warren and Mattie O’Neal Howard.
Survivors include her two sons, Jim Davidson, Jr. (Edna), Leesburg, GA; and Howard Davidson (Etta), Bonaire; three daughters, Dot Greene (Bob), Bonaire; Patricia Woodard Murdock, Kathleen; and Elaine Poole (Glenn), Bonaire; three brothers,
J.W. Howard (Mildred), Savannah, GA; Francis Howard (Margaret), Macon; and
John E. Howard (Virginia), Ft. Valley; sister, Portia Holt, Warner Robins; 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
