Ruby Williams Hargrove

Ruby Williams Hargrove passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2007.

Mrs. Hargrove was born in Danielsville, Georgia. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Ruby had been a resident of Warner Robins since 1946. She retired from Houston Medical Center where she worked as a nursing assistant. Ruby’s greatest passion was her loving family. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her daily fellowship at Huddle House. Ruby was a true Atlanta Braves fan. Her husband, William J. Hargrove, her parents, Paul and Olivia Simmons Roberts, and several siblings, all preceded her in death.

She will be missed by her children, Ronald Williams (Carolyn), Conyers; Robert Williams (Melcena), Warner Robins; Roger Williams (Brenda), Chantilly, VA; Paulette Shipman (Mike), Lizella; Janet Flanders, Warner Robins; sisters, Marie Wheeler, Winston-Salem, NC; Inez Bost, Concord, NC; Willie Mae Barrett, Athens; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2007, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association-GA Affiliate 3312 Northside DR, Ste. 140 A, Macon, GA 31210-0429 or to the American Diabetes Association-GA Affiliate One Corporate Square, Atlanta, GA 30329.
