Rudolph Daniel, 80, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, December 7, 2008.
Mr. Daniel was born on May 20, 1928 in D'lo, Mississippi. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Navy as a radio operator on the USS Haynesworth. He retired from Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft electrician and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife of fifty-five years, Mary Lou Boggan Daniel in June 2008, parents, Melon Edward Daniel and Mamie Waldrop Daniel, sisters Elsie McInnis and Ireda Jacobs, and brothers Hubert and Clayton Daniel.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Ginger Daniel Frye (Wes), Warner Robins, sons, Tommy (Elaine) Daniel, Bonaire, Dickie (Donna) Daniel, Warner Robins, Robert Daniel (Christine Martin), Byron; grandchildren Jessica Daniel (Joshua Lewis), Macon, Amanda, Steven, Justin and Jesse Daniel, Warner Robins, Joshua Daniel (Bridgett Carson), Tyrone, Pennsylvania; great-grandchildren, Laci Daniel, Macon, Christian and Natalie Daniel, Tyrone, Pennsylvania; sister, Joan Brett, Peachtree City; a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral, services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201 or the Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Suite 201, Macon GA 31201.
