Russ Thompson

Norman Russell Thompson, 70, entered into rest on Sunday, April 25, 2010.

Mr. Thompson was born on January 13, 1940 in Macon, GA. A lifetime resident of Middle Georgia, Russ was a veteran of the National Guard. He retired from Robins Air Force Base where he worked in civil service as an Electronic Warfare Specialist for over thirty years. His parents, Norman Russell Thompson, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Sutton Thompson, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Jackie Thompson, Centerville; sons and their spouses, Patrick and Paula Pridgen, Warner Robins; Russ and Mashell Thompson, Summerville, SC; Jesse and Lynne Pridgen, Hubert, NC; Jeff and Dianne Pridgen, Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Kinley Pridgen, Brooke Thompson, Zack Coatney; and sister, Eleanor Futch Rosen, of Macon.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2010 in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Prior to the service, the family will greet visitors from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at McCullough Funeral home.
