Russell T. Hearn, 74, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2007.
Mr. Hearn was born on November 7, 1932 in Jasper County, Georgia. An Army veteran, Mr. Hearn served during the Korean conflict; he retired from Robins AFB as an electrical engineer after thirty years of service during which he received numerous commendations and service awards, including one from President Jimmy Carter. Mr. Hearn was a devoted husband and father and an avid RV camper. He was a member of Hardison Baptist Church.

His parents, George Hearn and Mamie Batchelor Thompson, brother Dodge Hearn and granddaughter Joy Iris Hearn all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Iris Inglett Hearn, Warner Robins; sons, Russell L. Hearn (Kim), Warner Robins; Wesley V. Hearn (Wanda), McIntyre; grandchildren, Sherryl A. Hearn, Macon and Michael R. Hearn, Byron; sisters-in-law, Alice Patronas, Navato, CA and Trilby Shurling, Gordon; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.Donations may be made to the MedCen Foundation, High St., Macon, GA, 31201 or to the Children’s Hospital, 777 Hemlock St., Macon, GA, 31201.
