Ruth Elizabeth Gaylor

Ruth Gaylor, 91, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2006. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the Wellston Center. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church 250 S. Davis DR Warner Robins, GA 31088 or to Wellston Center 155 Maple Street, Warner Robins, GA 31093.

Mrs. Gaylor was born on December, 8, 1914 in Dayton, Ohio. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was in the Golden Hearts Club. Mrs. Gaylor worked for over twenty years at Dayton Stencil Works (Dayton, Ohio) where she retired as the head bookkeeper. In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Gaylor was very active in the community and will be fondly remembered for her many contributions. She was an active member of the Warner Robins Senior Citizens Center, and a dancer with the Warner Robins Rockettes. She was involved with the Golden Olympics and a member of the Royal Order of Moose Lodge. Her husband, John L. Gaylor, and parents, LeRoy and Emma Daum Hinkle all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Dale L. Gaylor, Warner Robins; Jack Gaylor, Green Cove Springs, FL; Robert Gaylor, Lebanon, OH; and Nancy Hilbert, Jacksonville, FL; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
