Ruth Hagler Bazemore

Warner Robins – Ruth Hagler Bazemore, 89, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2003 at the Warner Robins Rehab and Nursing Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Born in Crisp County, GA, Mrs. Bazemore, was the daughter of the late Harvey and Lydia Hagler. She graduated from the Georgia State College for Women and was a school teacher at a one room school house in Marion County. She has resided in Warner Robins since 1942 and retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. She was a longtime devoted member of First Baptist Church in Warner Robins. Her husband, Gordon F. Bazemore, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Gordon F. Bazemore, Jr. (Pat), Centerville, Madison T. Bazemore (Sarah Ann), Warner Robins; daughter, Ruth Sanders (Jim), Centerville, GA; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
