Ruth M. Harter

Ruth M. Harter, 97, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2003. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Warren, Ohio, with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Harter was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha Meermans and the widow of John W. Harter. She was retired from banking at Trumble Savings and Loan. She also was a member of Cherokee Methodist Church in Macon and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Charles Shadron, Warner Robins; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
