Ruth Marshall Harper, 88, died Sunday, June 16, 2002 at the Eatonton Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00pm Tuesday at McCullough Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Harper was born in Elko, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Methodist Church, Warner Robins. Her husband, Elve W. Harper, Sr., parents, Herbert Eugene Marshall and Estelle Dennard Marshall, sister, Juanita Webb and granddaughter, Shari Paige Stevens preceded her in death.
Survivors include her four daughters, Sylvia (Harper) and Jerry Lopez, Livingston, TX; Nancy (Harper) and Bill Clark, Milledgeville; Patricia (Harper) and Don Marshall, Hillsboro; Annelle Harper Stevens, Forest Park; two sons, E. Walker Harper, Jr., and partner Bill Thompson, Atlanta; William Stephen and Terry Harper, Warner Robins; three sisters, Kathryn Motz, Savannah, TN; Jean Norris, Hawkinsville; Willene Boling, Johnston, SC; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
