Ruth Mary Jarrett, 83, passed away at her home on Friday, December 28, 2007 after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Jarrett was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 17, 1924. As the daughter of a Pennsylvania Railroad executive, her family was transferred frequently. Three of those moves were during their three-year assignment in Germany. During their military career, Mrs. Jarrett was an active member of several Officers’ Wives Clubs, and also supported Airmen activities and church groups at their various stations.
Throughout the years, Mrs. Jarrett has been exceptionally devoted to both her family and her faith. She was an active member of numerous Catholic parishes before finally settling in Warner Robins, Georgia in 1966, when she, her husband and two children became members of Sacred Heart Parish.

Jeffrey Jarrett (Susie) of Warner Robins; her daughter, Jacquelyn Jarrett Edwards (Clarke) of Versailles, Kentucky; her brothers, Theodore and Louis Preun, both of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area; and five grandchildren, Will Jarrett, Joseph Jarrett, Jill Jarrett, Jarrett Edwards and Thomas Edwards.
