Ruth Wall Marrett

Ruth Wall Marrett, 85, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2004. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First United Methodist Church Youth or to The Methodist Children’s Home.

Mrs. Marrett was born in Sparta, GA. She was the former co-owner of Marrett’s Auto Service, which was sold in 1980 to her son, Bobby Marrett. She continued working there part-time until her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, Emmett L. Marrett, and her parents, Wesley Edmond and Lula Caline Jones Wall.

Survivors include her daughter Betty Liles (John), Macon; son, Bobby Marrett (Kathleen), Warner Robins; daughter, Ann Ledbetter (James), Huntsville, AL.; two brothers, Bill Wall and Jessie Wall, and three sisters, Ida Mae Ethridge, Annie Griffith, and Mary Hardy, all of Milledgeville; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
