Sixteen year old Ryan Skeen, beloved son of Randy and Susie Skeen of Bonaire, passed away at Medical Center Navicent Health on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was born in Macon on March 17, 1999. A natural athlete, Ryan was a well-loved student at Veteran's High School in Kathleen where he was a member of both the Cross Country and Wrestling teams. In his spare time he enjoyed skateboarding and anything that involved spending time with his family whom he loved dearly. Ryan was a member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church.
His grandparents, James and Shirley Skeen, preceded him in death.
In addition to his loving parents, Ryan leaves his memory to be treasured by his siblings, Mandi Skeen, Lindi Skeen, and R.J. Skeen, all of Bonaire; his grandparents, Russ and Charlene Cox of Salem, Oregon; a nephew, Jace Kimball, of Bonaire; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all loved and will miss him so much.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday, November 1, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services to celebrate and remember Ryan's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Southside Baptist Church. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Ryan Matthew Skeen to Sandy Valley Baptist Church Youth Group, 1124 S. Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
