Mrs. Gilreath was born May 5, 1924 and grew up on a farm in Walton County, Georgia, moving to Warner Robins in 1951. She loved to travel and camp, and spent many happy days at Panama City and in the mountains of Georgia and North Carolina.
Mrs. Gilreath enjoyed the company of dogs her whole life and especially her Welsh Corgi, Rags. She became a resident of Perry after the death of her husband and spent many happy years there among her dear friends and neighbors.
Mrs. Gilreath attended to both her mother and husband during their long years of illness in local nursing homes in Warner Robins, visiting each and every day. Her compassion and love for her family and for others set an example for her children.
