Sam English, 96, entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 11, 2021
Sam was born on December 28, 1924 to the late Sam and Mittie English, Sr. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army having participated in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Sam was a member of Central Baptist Church and a former Sunday School Director. A family man, Sam loved farming, hunting, fishing and his tractors. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth C. English and daughter, Carla English Patat.
His memory will forever be treasured by sons, Joe Wayne English (Terri), Walter Patrick English, Sr. (Tracey), Daniel Clay English (Wanda), Donald Ray English (Susan), Glenn Adonis English and son in law, Ronnie Patat; numerous grandchildren, and tons of great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
A graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Elder Bill Torrance officiating. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Sam J. English, Jr. to Central Baptist Church at 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
