Sandra Louise Crowder

Sandra Louise Crowder, 77, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. She was born in Macon, GA, on August 11, 1943, and was a longtime resident of Houston County.

Sandra was a devoted military wife and worked in retail. A Christian, she was a member of Houston Lake Baptist Church. Her family and dogs were her main focus.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Paul David Crowder, Sr.; her son, P. David Crowder, Jr.; and her father, John Griffin O’neal of Perry.

Survivors include: her sons, Kevin O’neal Crowder and Jason Crowder (Amanda), both of Perry; her daughters, Kimberly Lynn Ledbetter of Richmond Hill, GA and Shelley McQueen (Douglas) of Sumter, SC; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her mother, Anne Louise O’neal Taylor and Jean Batchelor; siblings, Jonanne Beckman (Tom), John O’neal (Carla) and Jeff O’neal (Valerie), all of Perry; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dogs and constant companions, Jojo and Gracie.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Reverend Fred McCoy will officiate. Sandra will be laid to rest in Perry Memorial Gardens following the service.

The family will accept flowers or donations be given in memory of Sandra to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or to an animal rescue of your choice.
