Sandra Wood

Sandra Wood, 65, entered into rest Sunday, June 29, 2008.

Mrs. Wood was born in Wetumpka, Alabama. Married for forty six years, she enjoyed being a part of a military family, having lived and traveled throughout three continents. She never met a stranger. Sandra was a thoughtful, generous and kind hearted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed life. She was passionate about her hobbies enjoying crafting, shopping, camping and journaling. She was especially fond of her dog "Sweetie", but most of all Maw-Maw, as she was called by her family, loved and adored her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends. Her father, Harvey King Conner preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Robert Stanley Wood; children, James H. Wood (DeAnn), Seneca, South Carolina, Robert S. Wood, Jr. (Cathie), Warner Robins, William C. Wood (Jennifer), Unadilla; grandchildren, Matt Wood, Alex Wood, Laura Lynn Wood, William Wood, Melanie Wood, Madison Wood, Kathleen Wood; mother, Mary Kate Conner, and brothers, Gerald Conner (Ginger), Fulton, Mississippi, James Conner (Janie), Wetumpka, Alabama.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 1, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
