Sandra Dean Wright

Sandra Dean Wright, 81, entered into rest on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

Sandra was born on October 22, 1942, in Asheville, North Carolina to the late Olin and Janie Dean Debruhl Blankenship.  She truly loved people and never met a stranger. Sandra had a variety of interesting jobs including being a homemaker, a school bus driver, and finally, spending 17 years working in the nursery at the Bonaire Ace Hardware. She was a faithful member of Bonaire Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed visiting the beach or the lake, decorating for the holidays, and gardening. Sandra will be deeply missed by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Blankenship.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 62 years, Gerald “Wayne” Wright; children, Gerald Keith Wright (Ann), Jeffrey Wayne Wright (Cyndi), and Mitchell Tallant (Terri); grandchildren, Chad Wright, Megan Wright, Brandon Wright, Conner Wright, and Walker Wright; great-grandchildren, Lilly Wright and Cooper Wright; and brother, Randy Blankenship.

A memorial gathering will be Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Bonaire Methodist Church.  A memorial celebration will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at Bonaire Methodist Church.
