Sandura Jack Smiley

Sandura Jack Smiley, 72, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013.

Sandura was born on August 4, 1941 in Marion, Illinois to Ernest and Mary LaBotte Jack. It was her desire when she passed to donate her body to science, in hopes of improving or even saving someone else's life. Sandura was a kind, giving person, who loved spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Kimberly Sue Leonard (Michael), Marion, Illinois; Harold Eugene Smith (Tracy), Warner Robins, Georgia; and Ernest Raymond Smiley, Marion, Illinois; and grandson, Shawn Moore. In addition to her parents, Sandura was preceded in death by her loving husband, Orville Raymond Smiley.

Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central Georgia, 655 Forest Hill Rd., Macon, GA 31210.
