Sara Lavon Courtney

Sara Lavon Courtney, 50, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2004 at Portsbridge Hospice of Macon. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 28, at Southside Baptist Church in Warner Robins with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, also in Warner Robins.

Mrs. Courtney was a lifelong resident of Macon. She was a Finance Support Specialist at Boeing. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Her father, James Gray, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Michael Courtney, mother, Betty Gray, son, Jason Courtney, and daughter, Jennifer Courtney, all of Macon; brother, Jamie Gray (Lisa), Warner Robins; sisters, Victoria G. Hart (Tony), Warner Robins; and SSgt. Valerie Gray, Ft. Stewart, GA; and five nieces and nephews.
