Born in Fulton County, Mrs. Hayes moved to Warner Robins in the late 1940’s from Madison, Georgia. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing and canning vegetables. Mrs. Hayes spent her lifetime as a loving wife and mother, and later as a grandmother to several generations of grandchildren. Much of her greatest joy came from the time she spent among this beloved family. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins and the Adult One Fidelis Sunday School Class. Her husband, Clarence V. Hayes, parents, Grover and Annie Miller, and brother, Jack H. Miller, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Wayne Hudson, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Anitra (Mike) Gavin, Centerville; Cindy and Wendy Hudson, Macon; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
