Sara Moulton Holden

Sara Holden, 72, entered into rest on Friday, October 22, 2010.

Born in Ellaville, GA on October 21, 1938, Mrs. Holden was Director of Budget and Finance with the Air Force Reserve Command until her retirement after forty-three years of faithful service. She was a loving mother and her granddaughters were her heart and joy. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Holden, her parents, Henry Franklin Moulton and Annie Cleo Moulton, brother, Charles Moulton, and sister, Naomi Fitzgerald.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Cary Holden, Warner Robins; granddaughters, Kera Holden and Destiny Holden, both of Macon; sister, Marie Brown, Howard, and brother, Lewis Moulton, Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, October 25, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at Central Baptist Church, the Reverends Sydney Odom and Daryl Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the American Lung Association of Georgia, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna GA 30080.
