Sara Nell Manus

Sara Nell Hughes Manus, 75, entered into rest on Sunday, October 30, 2011.

Ms. Manus was born on March 2, 1936 in Pitts, Georgia, and had worked for Packaging Corporation. She was a devoted member of Second Baptist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Ted Manus; parents, Roy Hughes and Letha Calhoun Hughes; and sister, Ruby Branan.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Kathy Nell Shubert and Billie Ann Peavy (Terry); granddaughter, Hunter Jeannette Peavy, all of Kathleen; sisters, Imogene Hudson, Vienna, Royaline Evans, Rebecca, Georgia, and Vivian Harvey, Savannah; and loving caregiver, Connie Walker.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Mike Slade and Pastor Joe Eiler officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
